While you can swap out the mopping cloth (if necessary), it's a pain to remove the mount itself to wash manually. I've found that any plush carpet that the robot touches will be in contact with the rough Velcro-like fastener mechanism on the mount, and could cause scratches.
The S8 Pro Ultra has a variety of smart features that include support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. The Roborock app is where you can manage and set up these advanced features. It also includes maps and advanced mopping options. The app lets you schedule cleanings and track the battery's life. But you'll need to jump through a few hurdles to enable voice control on this model, which is a shame considering how well it performs otherwise.
