Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of robot vacuums and mops can be customized using an application that allows you to save the maps of your home, set cleaning schedules and select mopping options. You can also alter the suction power, and the amount of water your mop uses.
A mapping feature aids your robot navigate rooms and obstacles, while an obstacle avoidance feature helps it avoid hitting furniture, wires or stray pet toys. These are essential features for my house, stuffed with toys that are scattered about.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the top-of-the-line mop and vacuum cleaner, so it is naturally with features. It can mop and sweep in a single session and can lift its mop pads and brushes to stop soft surfaces from becoming too damp. It can also see and avoid obstacles, with the ability to identify pets plants, a variety of small objects.
The robotic vacuum's maximum suction power is 6,000 pascals. This is higher than any other robot vacuum we've tested so far. It also comes with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation that tracks its location, preventing it from becoming stuck on objects.
The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can continuously apply pressure to the pad of over 6 Newtons for a thorough clean. It also has mop lifter technology that lifts the pad automatically as it transitions between tile and laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs, in order to avoid soaking the soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad is capable of rinsing and then drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. You can set it to forget about it. You only need to refill the water tank, or replace the dust bag occasionally.
All of this is powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. I used it on its normal mop and vac settings for about 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to run low on power and then return to its base to recharge. This is not far off of the 180 minutes Roborock claims, and is on par with other hybrids I've tested.
This is a highly well-rounded and capable product, with the only downside being that it's pricey. However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a very tempting option for anyone who wants to go away from their old stick vacuums and mop. We would highly recommend this vacuum when you can justify the cost.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an expensive combination. Its price is justified by its impressive features, which include an impressive vacuuming capacity as well as two gyrating mop mops. It has an app-enabled smart control system and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros, which is one of the highest robotic vacuum and mop combos on the market. In my testing it performed very well in all areas of the home, removing 98.4 percent of the debris on all types of floors and able to lift long hair with no knots. The mops also performed well with excellent cleaning results with less effort than many mid-range models. This was due to their rotational movement and the powerful cleaning solution.
The L10S Ultra's most significant highlight is its multi-functional docking station. The docking station emptys the trash bin into a bag for dirt, fills up the tank with water to use for mopping, and even dry your mop pads. It also has an in-real-time system for detecting hazards and lets you schedule regular cleaning sessions with its smart controls.
Unlike the other hybrid vacuum mops I've tested and compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced dirt pickup on carpets. The mops of the L10S Ultra are not as effective in removing tough stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
In spite of the L10S Ultra's numerous premium features, it requires regular maintenance and care. Its base station has to be cleaned and the dustbag and water tanks should be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. It is also important to remember that the mop pads, that are bought separately, are required to be replaced on a regular basis too.
Given the L10S Ultra's premium pricing and its extensive features, I would recommend it to anyone with the money for it. If you're on a tight budget, I recommend a more basic model that will allow you to save money and enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. It's important to remember that even if the L10S Ultra is the best robotic vacuum and mop combination you can find but its high cost and constant maintenance will eventually make it more of a want rather than a requirement.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you require to tidy up mess and remove dirt from your floors. This powerful robovac/mop set-up comes with a powerful suction power of 8,000 Pa. It also has a huge battery capacity that can be used for both mopping and vacuuming. best rated robot vacuum is also equipped with a top-quality obstacle-avoidance technology. It even has a roller mop that cleans itself while moving, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that require users to return to their base station mid-clean in order to wash off the mop's pad.
The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a significant contrast to the microfiber pads and spinning discs that other robots. The roller covers the entire width of the robot and is constantly filled with ozonated, clean water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while taking in dirt. Any dry debris is removed using the side brushes or swept up into the front bumper. The S1 Pro then takes the mop water into its base station which is then absorbed by the tank's heating elements and then pumped into a larger storage container. The onboard tank can hold a good amount of water and take on up to a dozen mopping sessions before being emptied out.
The S1 Pro comes ready to use right out of the box as do most robotic vacuums/mops. It must be filled with clean water, but this is a simple task by cleaning the dock. If you'd like to use your own cleaner, you can add cleaning solution to the dock. If you do select this option, you'll need to purchase the cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your own cleaning products.
The S1 Pro performed well in the navigation efficiency and coverage tests, just like the majority of robots. It was quick to map the space and moved around furniture. It was stuck on carpets with longer piles several times during my tests. However it could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that offers a lot of functionality at an affordable price.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum, but it still offers some impressive features. The multi-function dock emptys the robot's dirtbag and replenishes its water tanks, washing and sanitizing mop pads as it moves. The mopping system can clean a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's powerful suction is ideal for removing pet hair and debris on carpets.
The app that runs the appliance is extensive, and provides many options to customize the cleaning process. You can manually initiate the full map and then clear everything that's been mapped by the device, or you can pick particular rooms, expandable zones or even a schedule you've crafted. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It makes use of the sensors on the mop to map the space and determine the most efficient method to clean it.
Like all Roborock models we've evaluated like all the Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system is solid it can map rooms quickly and cleaning them in an organized fashion. Its "Normal" pathing option covers an area well, and doesn't leave any major gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is also quite effective however it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers like thick carpets however it won't always be able to detect smaller items like rug tassels, or electrical wires.
The one glaring flaw of this machine is the lack of a mop-after-vacuum option which could be a problem for people who are frequently vacuuming prior to cleaning with their robot. Fortunately, there's a simple solution: the app offers the option to "clean up" at the end of each session. You can make use of the mopping features of the vacuum to get rid of the dust and dirt that remained after vacuuming. It's a nice addition and helps the robot to clean up a little bit better than its competitors with lower prices.
